Mr. Adams has led Emmy Medical from its inception in July 2013 through its development, FDA Clearance and commercial launch in May 2015.
He has spent 23 years commercializing innovative medical devices and procedures and has a track record of building and directing world-class teams and organizations.
He served as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Interlace Medical, which was acquired by Hologic in 2011 for $265MM.
Previously he has held senior R&D leadership roles at Boston Scientific, Smith & Nephew and Ethicon Endosurgery. Mr. Adams is a listed inventor on over 60 US and PCT patents.
JAMES
GREENBERG, MD
Co-Founder & Inventor
Dr. Greenberg invented CystoSure® while exploring methods to improve cystoscopic access to patients in Rwanda.
He is a practicing Ob/Gyn as well as the Chief of Gynecology at Brigham & Women’s Faulkner Hospital and a Vice Chairman of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
He was the lead medical consultant at Interlace Medical which was acquired by Hologic in 2011.
In addition, he has served as a medical device consultant for multiple companies including Ethicon Endosurgery, Hologic, Smith & Nephew, Channel MedSystems and others. He routinely reviews and publishes new product reviews for various trade journals.

KOHLI, MD, MBA
Co-Founder & Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Kohli is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in the field of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.
He has authored more than 100 scientific articles, book chapters, research abstracts, clinical presentations, and multimedia educational tools.
He was previously the Co-Director of the Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Mount Auburn Hospital, Director of the Fellowship in Urogynecology, and Director of Urogynecology at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston.
He founded the Division of Urogynecology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and was Division Chief from 2003 till 2010 when he left to start the Boston Urogyn.
